Our
Studio
Silver Hollow's fully digital studio was designed with high-quality
audio production in mind. Having built this space from the
ground up, we were able to utilize the latest in sound proofing
technologies and acoustic treatments.
The walls, ceiling
and floor of the sound booth are isolated from the rest
of the studio and contain a variety of acoustic materials,
including mineral fiber insulation and high-density rubber.
Auralex foam panels were used in both the sound booth and
studio spaces.
Our
Equipment
Our microphone is the newest generation of AKG's legendary
C 414, capable of outstanding voice reproduction. It's powered
through a Presonus Eureka channel strip. We use Digidesign's
ProTools editing system on a Macintosh G5.
Audio files are
stored on a top-of-the-line Glyph audio drive. We monitor
everything through a pair of Wharfedale Diamond Pro studio
monitors. And all our equipment is powered and protected
through a Furman PL-8 Series II power conditioner.
